The Superintendent serves as the primary field representative, coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality project execution.

Project Planning & Execution
- Implement project execution plans in coordination with the project team, focusing on field operations and logistics.
- Oversee all on-site construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and company standards.
- Support the development of site logistics, material delivery coordination, and workforce scheduling.
- Identify and resolve on-site issues and conflicts to maintain steady project momentum.
- Monitor labor and equipment utilization to ensure alignment with budget goals.
- Assist the Project Manager with scope review, change order documentation, and subcontractor accountability.
- Provide input on cost-saving opportunities and value engineering in field execution.
- Maintain and update short-interval “look-ahead” schedules.
- Coordinate daily and weekly work activities with subcontractors and suppliers to meet project milestones.
- Communicate schedule impacts and recovery strategies with the Project Manager.
- Enforce quality control processes and verify that work is performed to design specifications, codes, and industry standards.
- Conduct regular field inspections and correct deficiencies proactively.
- Coordinate inspections with third-party testing agencies and jurisdictional authorities.
- Champion a safety-first culture and ensure all work is performed in compliance with OSHA and company safety policies.
- Conduct daily safety briefings and job hazard analysis (JHA) with field crews.
- Partner with the Safety Manager to perform site audits, maintain safety documentation, and address violations immediately.
- Represent the company professionally on the job site with owners, architects, consultants, and inspectors.
- Communicate daily site progress, challenges, and needs to the Project Manager and stakeholders.
- Participate in coordination meetings and assist in maintaining positive relationships with project partners.
- Lead and supervise field personnel, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure cohesive site operations.
- Provide direction, mentorship, and accountability to crews, fostering a productive and respectful job site culture.
- Ensure that all team members understand the project goals, timelines, and safety expectations.
- Maintain accurate field reports, daily logs, safety checklists, and as-built documentation.
- Track and report progress, inspections, delays, and weather conditions.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager on RFIs, submittals, and project communication logs.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
- Minimum 5–10 years of progressive construction experience.
- Proven ability to read and interpret construction documents and specifications.
- Strong knowledge of construction means, methods, scheduling, and safety practices.
- OSHA 30 certification required; First Aid/CPR certification preferred.
- Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Autodesk Build, MS Project, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Excellent leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
